☆ Art for Afrika Fundraiser

Jambo friends! Rebecca Sauder is holding a fundraising event to benefit schools in Tanzania who need safe drinking water. The water in the area of Tanzania where Rebecca lives, is affected by very high, naturally occurring levels of fluoride. This results in people suffering from the devastating effects of fluorosis.

The fundraiser, which will take the form of a silent art auction, will have over thirty incredible paintings featuring the work of seven young and talented Tanzanian artists. An assortment of fresh, exotic Tanzanian spices and beans, and fair-trade necklaces and crafts will be available for sale. All proceeds will support a water filtration system for a school in critical need. Tax receipts will be given for donations. The event will be held on Saturday, September 10th at Bikram Yoga KW from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
